On Saturday, 2/18/22, Dan Slater attended the Santiago Creek Greenway Alliance's tri-weekly cleanup and shared some of his findings:
"Here is some of today’s haul from Santiago Creek Greenway Alliance’s monthly clean-up this morning. In the middle of it all is a box spring.
I also cleaned up what I think was a “cottage” wire stripping business in the creek. Hopefully I helped put him/her out of business. I’ll report back after next month’s clean-up (always the third Saturday in the morning). santiagogreenway.org"
How fortunate we are to have a candidate that doesn't just talk about the importance of conservation, but actively does his part to maintain the beautiful image of the City of Orange.
